This is an FYI so that we can all look for the offerings from Twitter. And it's a perfect example of how the marketer is challenged to connect all these wonderful technologies into one platform.

Finally. We've been waiting for the infusion of predictive into CRM, and we're now here. It's (and has been) a no-brainer. And you have to agree that the big issue is integration. Except big marketing hype at Dreamforce.

Adobe is an Enterprise solution, and an open exchange to reach the largest of the large global companies is exciting to many ISVs. Wondering if we will find Adobe swimming downstream at some point of the next few years.

This has nothing to do with becoming an agency but rather consulting and managing the data. For the behemoths, of course. It's more movement in the DMS space. The parallels to the ERP days and the SI days continue to amaze me. |

Absolutely needed! I don't know how often I find myself flowcharting OUTSIDE the MAP to create what is needed. But $5K/month puts it only into the hands of the Enterprise, which is a damn shame for the SMB marketplace where it is needed the most.

This may feel a bit too much like Big Brother for some, but with the right kind of incentives, this may hold some promise. I can also envision large conferences where identifications can be moved from badges to wearable devices. Interesting that Salesforce is capturing this market first.

Funny how this article points to marketing automation functionality and not necessarily CRM functionality! Regardless, SFDC will be a $50B company over the next 5 years, and indeed the next IBM (so long as SFDC does not get into the hardware business). |
Glad to see Act-On received a shout-out. Hootsuite misclassified, and should've been substituted with Oracle/Eloqua.
