Getting Started with Arduino Leonardo « Tutorial by Cytron

Getting Started with Arduino Leonardo « Tutorial by Cytron | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

Arduino Leonardo is the addition to the Arduino family with added feature and new functionalities. The microcontroller used on this board is ATmega32u4 instead of ATmega328 on older version boards such as Arduino Uno. This board is equipped with more digital pins, PWM pins and analog pins. The ATmega32u4 has built-in USB communication which eliminates the need for a secondary processor to handle USB communication.

RC Hobby Controllers and Arduino

RC Hobby Controllers and Arduino | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

Robots, cars, robotcars, and all sorts of prank devices require some degree of remote control. Most of the time, it's tempting to implement this yourself using XBee or some other wireless technology. Sometimes it's not a bad idea, but more often than not it's an over-powered and somewhat frustrating way to go. You find yourself thinking, "I remember the good old days when I just put batteries in the RC car and pushed the stick and it moved."

Intro to Arduino by Josh Marinacci | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

Last night I gave an intro to Arduino talk for our local tech meetup. My research work at Nokia has involved building hardware prototypes to test out ideas, so I've gotten to learn a lot about embedded hardware of all shapes and sizes. Arduino is clearly the leader in this area, making hardware hacking more accessible than it ever has been.
