Smart SME entrepreneurs know that your customer is always right. So listening skills and empathy are paramount, always.
Feel their emotion. Get into their heads. Dig out the true thinking. Even if it's kind of erroneous.
Switch the mood from negativity to positivity. It's self created, you know. Have a string of pre-meditated answers to questions. Record them and categorize these problems and solutions.
The expressed problems will fall into a very small set of categories. You just need to be prepared for them.
Entrepreneurship demands this of you. Ask Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates or Sir Richard Branson. Building those massive businesses took a heck of a lot of guts, resilience and mindful preparation.
