EU FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT TIPS

Pathfinder awards are normally between £7k and £10k, but in exceptional circumstances a maximum of £20k is available (NERC will fund 80% FEC).The fund is open to researchers with current or past NERC funding. Proposals for Follow-on support must build on the outputs of recent or previous NERC-funded research activity.

There is no closing date for this scheme; applications should be submitted at any time.

All projects must have project partners related to UK infrastructure, e.g. infrastructure owners, operators, regulators or policy-makers. Proposals should demonstrate the project partner’s challenges related to environmental risk, how science can be applied to develop a 'solution' and the impact that the project will have on the project partner.

A webinar will be held to talk through the technical aspects of the funding call process followed by a Q&A session.

The webinar will be held on 22nd March 12pm -1pm.
