CLOUDS - a Webdocumentary BY James George & Jonathan Minard

A new generation of online artists and hackers are emerging, creating tools for poetic, socially engaged experiments in technology. CLOUDS, and interactive documentary, explores this community through the lens of code.

The story revolves around the people who write Processing and openFrameworks, popular open source toolkits for designers. Their thoughts on invention and creativity assemble in a navigable network, visualized as a journey through a series of virtual worlds and playful systems programmed by the artists.

Tanukis being polymorph gentle spirits[*], it's natural for the whole project to be have many possible presentation "forms"

Tanuki, ou tanukibayashi, désigne, dans la mythologie japonaise, des esprits facétieux ressemblant à des blaireaux et ayant la capacité de changer de forme à volonté.
