The US regions with the biggest spikes in PR salaries | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

Amid widespread year-on-year increases across the US, three regions in particular saw notable spikes in median salary compared with last year.

The Northeast region saw a 12.9% hike (from $91,000 to $102,700); The Central region increased 21.2% (from $78,000 to $94,500); and the Plain States rose 9.8% (from $76,500 to $84,000).

The biggest social network for professionals in the world, Linkedin, has finally arrived to the party and launched their own iPad app. Up until now, users had been stuck with a small iPhone version which was only introduced late last year.


The app is a massive improvement on the tablet experience and is packed full of the usual features you would expect from the world’s biggest business social netwok. I felt that the iPhone app was actually a huge improvement on using the badly designed clunky website and the app takes things even further as the perfect way of browsing the site while on the go....
