According to MWP, online videos are watched by 55 percent of people daily, WordStream says that 90 percent of Twitter videos are viewed through a mobile device and more than 10 million videos are watched on Snapchat daily. Peter Shroeder also claims that click-through rate of emails with videos increases by 200-300 percent.

While all the numbers look enticing, video marketing is only successful if it provides real value to the consumers, when and how they want it.

Today’s fast-moving world accommodates only video content that fosters relevance, merit, and flexibility to the viewers, while they are trying to balance their on-the-go lifestyles.

Live video marketing is one of the hottest trends in the industry right now.

Video marketing has been popular for a while now, but recently there’s been a move to live streaming.

There’s something about the immediacy of live video that people just can’t get enough up. Being part of a live stream feels like you’re in an exclusive club.

Brands like NFL and Dunkin’ Donuts have used live streaming to bring fresh new content to their followers. It’s a trend for a reason. 80% of customers prefer live video to blog posts.

It’s easy to do with all the platforms like YouTube, Facebook Live, and Periscope. Other social media networks, like Snapchat and Instagram, have also added live video functionality.

There’s only one problem: Live video is scary.

Well, besides Internet fame and the personal satisfaction of being able to say "I did that" at your next company happy hour, 77% of consumers have been convinced to purchase something based on a video they've seen, research finds.

Of course, wanting to launch a viral video and actually doing it are two completely different things.

That means that over 50 percent of people who are watching videos that are 90 seconds or less are actually completing them, which is pretty good given our attention spans are now, what, seven seconds or less? But compare that to videos that are 30 minutes or more, and you’re only getting a 10 percent completion rate. So if you want people to watch your videos, shorter is better....
