I would agree with the fact that "Video Marketing" is a great way to go. Especially with music because there are so many advantages to doing so, people gravitate more to visual things oppose to just listening to an audio. Imagery is more appealing especially with all the new affects and advanced this you can do to enhance a viewers experience. These are some great reasons why "Video Marketing" is the next best thing when creating a Marketing Strategy. Take a look and decide for yourself.

Online video delivers 50% higher ROI than TV ads claims YouTube with econometric findings

Online video delivers 50% higher ROI than TV ads claims YouTube with econometric findings | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

YouTube is using Ad Week Europe to underline the change in consumers’ media consumption patterns with a study claiming that online video ad units deliver up to 50 per cent more return on investment (ROI) when compared with TV.

To add credibility to its claims that online video adds a higher ROI than TV, the online video sharing service has paired with Dentsu Aegis Network-owned consultancy Data2Decisions to apply Market Mix Modelling and Ecosystem Modelling techniques of analyse the sales impact of YouTube, as well as identifying the optimal level of spend through budget optimisation simulations.

The analytics firm concluded that brands should invest more of their media budgets on YouTube. Specific points in the study included:

1.    At current budgets, online video delivers 50 per cent higher ROI than TV advertising - this also holds true for YouTube
2.    In the studies completed so far, the YouTube investment should be increased by between two and six times
3.    In the optimised media budgets, between five per cent and 25 per cent of the total  AV budget should be invested in YouTube...

Jeff Domansky's insight:

More proof and research showing that video delivers higher ROI.

Video Content on Social Media is About to Boom - Insights

Video Content on Social Media is About to Boom - Insights | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

It’s no secret that video content is on the rise. By 2019, video content will be the driving factor behind 85% of search traffic in the US. Whether it’s Snapchat, Instagram, or Facebook, video content on social media is what marketers need to focus on in 2017. Additionally, marketers must understand how each social channel is optimizing its platform to allow for more video content in users’ feeds, and how brands are using video content to engage their followers.

The reason why these major social networks are optimizing their platforms is because the majority of search traffic will be a result of video content, and future marketing projects will include high spending on digital. To illustrate this is eMarketer’s data on the expected ad expenditure in the US over the next four years. These future projections indicate that not only will digital ad spend increase significantly, increasing on average $13 billion every year, but social and video are the only ad types expected to grow in the near future. While social is expected to grow significantly, video ad types will boom 184% from $9.9 billion to $28 billion in ad spend – making them the fastest growing ad type....

Jeff Domansky's insight:

In just two years, video content will be 85% of search traffic in the US, mostly on social media. That's 85%. EightY-five. Percent. Got it?
