Alternative Design Facts v. Real Facts in Digital Marketing | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

The public struggles to parse fact from fiction on the latest political and societal news story, but marketers face an even sharper struggle when it comes to parsing the truth about website design trends.

Help! I just launched a new website and my search rankings tanked! | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

Imagine this nightmare scenario: you’re on the verge of launching your newly redesigned website, and you’re already anticipating new leads and returning customers. You’ve spent countless hours working through every last detail before even considering unveiling your new creation to the world. The big day arrives, and you give the green light to launch.

Suddenly, you realize you forgot to plan for one crucial element: the SEO best practices that you had so carefully incorporated into your old website.

Your website is the center of your digital marketing world — the place that all digital rivers run toward. And of course, the largest of its traffic sources is generally organic search.
