We got this tip via an interesting source, and had to take a bit to time to digest it.  Along with a kidney stone Thumpy is still passing…yikes!  SO, lets get right to the news you don’t get anywhere else.

What is their deal with THIS move?  Recap for the new-to-Big G-news folks; Cybergun has a new management team with new ideas.  But what do you gain by snapping up Shorty USA which has been closed/hold-mode since last year…and the EU site, too?  Why not just go new-school and build a new storefront?  And DIRECT sales….that’s gonna make some of you biz-guys pretty unhappy.

Whad’da Ya Say, airsoft?  We know the new guys are watching, and perhaps they’ll jump in here and explain, as they seem to be pretty open to communications with players and setting a new tone…

There is A LOT more going on behind-the-scenes in the European Union than this simple press release might suggest.  We'd also point you to the great posts coming from the UK Airsoft Players Union (UKAPU Website HERE & FACEBOOK Link HERE) and guys like Matt Furey-King to get a more well-rounded perspective.  None-the-less, STAY FROSTY and HEAD ON A SWIVEL EU Players!  The fight is far from over, the battle not-yet won!

CYBERGUN has announced a reorganization of its USA based businesses among other topics covered with a release/presentation from France this morning…NEWS LINK HERE, turn on your native translation…and a second News Link HERE

As this announcement comes directly after the IWA Show in Germany, there seems to be some major hurdles still ahead for the re-grouping effort for airsoft’s biggest public company.  Also included in the announcements were issues with their plans to bring .22cal real steel training guns online…and the loss of a large customer (WalMart, perhaps?) that accounted for more than 30% of their USA business…but at the same time an apparent announcement of new sales to TARGET stores starting soon…

Also posted via the Cybergun FB fan page were some sightings inside the IWA display…

Prototypes...possible release in 6-8 months?  Color us surprised, but not by who found it at the CyberG booth in Germany...AIRSOFT.NU ROCKED IT THIS YEAR!  41 VIEWS?  How can that be possible?  SPREAD THIS ONE!

The DICE-Bro is back with another everyman review…and its interesting to hear some of his observations on this late-release from the big G…maybe we need to dive into this gun a little more and poke a few hives to see what comes out.  What do YOU think, owners…???
