“…More than 30 people, including school resource officers and local business people, spent Monday and Tuesday learning what to do in the event of an active shooter at their campus or place of business. Drills included elaborate shooter scenarios with airsoft guns, as one rogue participant opens fire at the crowd without warning. Participants are then taught the different options to respond, including rushing the attacker or barricading themselves in a classroom to prevent the shooter from entering….”

We only wish the Mt. Lebanon PD had better training tools than a CRAPTASTIC PLASTIC pistol to use for their recent ALICE Active Shooter drills…perhaps a local store in Pennsylvania could help steer them to the gear they need! But, still…GREAT to see this happening across the county! FIGHT BACK when you can’t run!

And LEO's in Maine are doing it right, training at the actual school they may have to respond to, using AIRSOFT as a safe and effective tool to learn before they may need to go in and save lives! AIR SMART at another Law Enforcement Agency!

This one has us more hooked-up with the good vibes than we normally are for a Cops-Train-With-Local-‘Softers event….because this time it is Police AND their Explorers/Cadets training with some of the best…the AIRSOFT OBSESSED gang in California! Yea, THAT California! ‘See, when you work together and do the right things to help your local LEO’s, the gaps are bridged and it not only builds good teamwork for the departments, the officers and FUTURE officers, but for your whole community.
