Google Wave - virtual workspace for students to collaborate and communicate in groups   By Georgia Politte | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it
Well it’s been a week since I was kindly sent an invitation to Google Wave. I have to admit that at first I was a little underwhelmed but since then, as I have started to add contacts, I I have started to see it’s potential.

Hi David, Keeeb is a good tool if you need to collect and organize web resources, images or video. It's better than Pinterest functionality-wise but it does not have its audience. So my advice is try it out and see if it does what you need to do.

Free Technology for Teachers: ProjectWriter - A New Way to Assign and Manage Group Writing Projects | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it

You can assign the entire report to a group, and each group member writes a paper, and all students in the group vote which is the best paper to submit to the teacher. Otherwise, you can assign a number of sections, and each group member writes a section, and group members vote on who's paper should be submitted for each section. I like the second option-some students might be better at writing about one topic over another.
